About the Program

Soccer Stars is partnering with AYSO to provide a fun, engaging, and development-focused soccer program for young players in the Torrance community.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic soccer coaches who enjoy working with children and creating a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead age-appropriate soccer practices and activities.
• Teach fundamental soccer skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, and teamwork.
• Create a fun, encouraging, and safe environment for players.
• Keep children engaged through games, drills, and creative activities.
• Communicate professionally with parents, program staff, and AYSO representatives.
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to coach.
• Follow Soccer Stars and AYSO safety and program guidelines.

Qualifications

• Soccer playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Positive, energetic, and patient personality.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work Fridays and Saturdays.
• Background check and other program requirements may apply.

Schedule

Fridays & SaturdaysPart-time hours, with specific times based on program sessions and field availability in Torrance.
