Role Overview

M Booth is seeking a highly creative, multi-platform Mid-Level Social Designer to join our creative team. This role is a unique hybrid: your area of focus will be the various social platforms—producing high-polish, stop-and-scroll static graphics, infographics, and rich carousels for LinkedIn, Facebook, and X, while also collaborating with our video-led storytelling team on raw, creator-style overlays, typography, and visual assets for TikTok and YouTube Shorts. 

This person is passionate about creativity and design, focuses on concepts as well as visual explorations, and is able to design for various digital outputs, like social media, websites, and presentations. We are looking for someone who is motivated and looking to grow their career, as well as support the growth of the team around them. The candidate will be part of a creative team of 20+ and report to an Art Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Platform Visual Design: Create high-quality, channel-specific visual assets across all major social touchpoints, including LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Brand Guideline Translation: Master client guidelines while strategically "stretching" them for social media. You will help build cohesive "social-first" brand identity kits (custom typography, color palettes, visual stickers, and UI-inspired overlays) that fit organic feed environments.
• Fast-Turn Cultural Agility: Monitor trending social conversations alongside our social listening team to design rapid-response graphic assets, meme templates, and visual hooks that keep social content highly relevant.
• Actively communicate with our team of fellow creatives to co-create concepts and meet client demands
• Ensure that clients’ messaging and images are conveyed in a brand-appropriate manner, crafting compelling creative solutions
• Be hands-on creating visual explorations and treatments, vector graphics and illustrations, typography, mockups, photo retouching, compositions and layouts
• Develop and explore visual campaign concepts and styles, designing the overall look/style of the series
• Brainstorm and collaborate on conceptual creative solutions for big and small campaigns
• Produce design requests for appropriate account leads, meeting strict deadlines, and prioritizing requests
• Ability to articulate design choices to fellow designers, account team members, and clients
• Stay current on art trends, social media visual guidelines and specs, digital design, etc.
• Participate in the growth of the team

Qualifications & Core Requirements

• Multi-Channel Portfolio: 4+ years of professional social design experience (agency or in-house) with a proven portfolio showing diverse design outputs across LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Advanced Graphic Design: Exceptional command of typography, composition, color theory, grid systems, and layout hierarchies. You know how to balance "clean and corporate" with "raw and native."
• The Social Creator's Toolkit: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and collaborative design platforms like Figma. Familiarity with mobile editing suites (like CapCut) is a major plus.
• Operational Agility: Experience working in fast-paced agency environments with cross-agency sync pipelines.
• Soft Skills: Excellent time management, receptivity to creative feedback/edits, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

• SALARY: $51,000-74,000

(New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.)

Our Flexible Work Policy: 

We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event.
