What you will do

The Aveeno Social Marketing Activation Lead (SMAL) is responsible for translating the brand strategy across owned channels and creator partnerships, driving engagement, relevance, and business impact through best-in-class social content and activation plans.

This role leads Aveeno's organic social strategy and execution across the portfolio while owning influencer strategy and campaign management for the Face business. Working closely with the Influencer ABM, the SMAL develops integrated social and creator programs that support product launches, retailer priorities, tentpole campaigns, and cultural moments.

Key Responsibilities

Organic Social Strategy & Execution - Total Brand

• Serve as daily point of content with organic social agency.
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate organic social strategies, campaigns, and content that effectively communicate the brand strategy and achieve priority business objectives across priority platforms.
• Lead editorial planning and content calendar development across social platforms, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, product launches, retailer activations, and cultural moments.
• Monitor emerging social media trends, platforms, and consumer behaviors to identify opportunities to strengthen brand relevance, engagement, and thought leadership within sensitive skincare.
• Develop and optimize multimedia content, including video, creator-led assets, platform-native content, and community-driven storytelling to maximize engagement and business impact across Retail, PR and Paid.
• Manage community engagement and proactive engagement and ensure consistent brand voice and consumer experience across owned social channels.
• Support onboarding for potential future social and community building platforms.

Face Influencer Strategy & Campaign Management

• Lead influencer strategy and activation for the Aveeno Face portfolio, including creator identification, briefing, content development, approvals, amplification planning, and performance measurement in partnership with agency.
• Develop integrated influencer and organic social programs that drive awareness, engagement, consideration, and conversion across key Face priorities and product launches.
• Partner with agencies and cross-functional stakeholders to execute creator campaigns from planning through reporting.
• Identify opportunities to leverage creator content across owned channels and broader marketing initiatives to maximize campaign impact.
• Manage influencer timelines, content reviews, and activation workbacks to ensure seamless execution.

Integrated Campaign Leadership

• Develop social and creator activation plans that support retailer moments, innovation launches, tentpole campaigns, seasonal priorities, and always-on business needs.
• Collaborate closely with the Influencer ABM to ensure consistency in creator strategy, measurement frameworks, reporting standards, and agency ways of working across the Aveeno portfolio.
• Partner with Paid Media, PR, DCOMM, CRM, and Shopper Marketing teams to identify opportunities for content amplification and integrated campaign execution.

Analytics & Performance Optimization

• Leverage data-driven insights to inform content strategy and optimize organic social and influencer performance.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social and creator campaign results, providing actionable recommendations to improve engagement, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Translate social listening, platform trends, and performance data into strategic recommendations and future activation plans.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Category Marketing, Legal/Regulatory, PR, DCOMM, Media, Shopper Marketing, and agency partners on content development and execution.
• Serve as the primary social activation lead for assigned business priorities, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and workstreams.

What's in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$110,500.00 - $156,000.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
