As we continue to grow, we are seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Remote Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys social media, content creation, communication, and helping businesses maintain a professional and engaging online presence.

Position Overview

As a Remote Social Media Assistant, you will assist with managing Apogee Signs' social media presence and digital content. You will help create and organize posts, monitor social media activity, engage with audiences, and support marketing initiatives across approved platforms.

The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable with social media platforms, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Compensation

$22.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities May Include

• Assist with creating, scheduling, and publishing social media content.
  
• Help maintain company profiles across approved social media platforms.
  
• Write engaging captions and basic marketing copy.
  
• Assist with selecting and organizing photos, graphics, and other visual content.
  
• Monitor comments, messages, and general social media activity.
  
• Respond to routine messages and inquiries or direct them to the appropriate team member.
  
• Research relevant content ideas, trends, hashtags, and industry topics.
  
• Maintain a consistent and professional brand voice across social media.
  
• Track basic engagement and content performance.
  
• Help organize social media calendars and marketing materials.
  
• Collaborate with team members on promotions, announcements, and campaigns.
  
• Maintain organized digital files for social media content.
  

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Familiarity with major social media platforms.

• Previous social media or marketing experience is preferred but not required.

Remote Position

This is a fully remote position. The successful candidate must be able to maintain reliable internet connectivity, communicate effectively with team members, attend virtual meetings as needed, and consistently meet assigned deadlines.

Occasional travel or in-person meetings may be requested for training, team meetings, or special projects.
