This person will be responsible for growing followers and brand influence through a variety of tactics, including but not limited to organic and paid content calendar execution, influencer programs, paid social ads, social strategy, reporting, and community management. This position will be an integral part of the growing marketing department and requires a person who is a self‑starter and knows how to grow a brand rapidly on social media.ResponsibilitiesManage all owned social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Truth Social, YouTube and more)Evaluate & launch new social media channelsEstablish channel KPI's, own channel analytics & reportingMaintain brand story and voice to ensure consistency across all Social Media platformsDevelop engaging and channel relevant contentPartner with external partners to build & execute strategies for launchesServe as a community manager on all social media platformsEvaluate and manage current and potential social media management tools (content optimization platform, influencer management platform, etc)In partnership with your manager, strategize beyond social media to expand concepts across multiple channels, serving as a proactive and valuable member of the Marketing Department.Ability to deliver high quality work, quickly, in a dynamic organization under time pressureWrite and edit scripts for marketing content & adsClipping and editing news and podcasts to curate reels and storiesStaying informed of trending political and cultural topics in Social MediaRequired QualificationsThorough knowledge of all social media networksAt least one year of experience managing social media platforms for communities or brandsManagement of a brand or company's social media channels and analytics toolsStrong verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service skillsMust be highly motivated, have a positive demeanor, be a team player, a proactive self‑starter, and an excellent communicatorAbility to work with external partners in a professional mannerExcellent writing and presentation skills, both in structure and contentMust be a high‑energy individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environmentAbility to work well with different personalities and within a team settingProficient in Google Apps, social media management software, and CanvaPreferred Qualifications3+ years of experience managing social media platforms for communities or brandsGraphic design and/or digital performance marketing experiencePost‑secondary education in graphic design, marketing, business, and/or social mediaExperience running successful paid social advertising campaignsBenefitsBrave Books offers a competitive salary and regular additional incentives.
