Social Media Coordinator

The Social Media Coordinator will help create and manage engaging content that showcases our dealerships, vehicles, employees, customers, and community involvement. The ideal candidate is comfortable creating content on the go, understands current social media trends, and enjoys bringing new ideas to the table.

Responsibilities
- Create engaging photo, video, and short-form content for dealership social media accounts.
- Assist with managing platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant social channels.
- Develop content featuring new and pre-owned vehicles, dealership promotions, employee highlights, customer deliveries, events, and community involvement.
- Capture and edit photos and videos for social media use.
- Create Reels, TikToks, Stories, and other short-form video content.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and assist with developing a social media content calendar.
- Write engaging captions and promotional copy that align with dealership and manufacturer branding.
- Monitor social media comments, messages, tags, and mentions and assist with timely responses.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, popular content formats, and emerging opportunities.
- Work with dealership management and team members to identify content opportunities.
- Assist with dealership events, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Track basic social media performance, including engagement, reach, follower growth, and content performance.
- Ensure content maintains a professional image and follows company and manufacturer brand standards.
- Perform other marketing and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other major social media platforms.
- Comfortable creating and appearing in photo and video content when needed.
- Basic photo and video editing skills.
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate new content ideas.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently as well as with a team.
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe products, or similar content creation tools is a plus.
- Previous social media, marketing, content creation, or automotive experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver''s license and acceptable driving record.
