Our family of brands provide filmmaking equipment rentals for lenses, cinema cameras, grip, and lighting, stage facilities for filming, and much more.Job ScopeSocial Media Coordinator, Brand Marketing is a temporary, part-time role focused on social media coordination and operational support for the Panavision Group brand marketing team. This position relieves day‑to‑day scheduling, drafting, and systems workload from the Social Media & Content Manager, while extending into broader marketing support functions including film festival administration, studio and client outreach coordination, and brand marketing operations. This is not an entry‑level role; candidates should bring at least one prior professional role and demonstrate experience managing multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment. The Coordinator reports to the Brand Marketing Director and works closely with the Social Media & Content Manager on a day‑to‑day basis.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media CoordinationDraft, schedule social media posts across platforms including asset coordination and tagging in Sprout Social; submit drafts for Social Media & Content Manager approvalDownload, edit, and upload filmmaker assets; maintain organized asset libraries following established tagging and naming conventionsSend post approval links to filmmakers and manage any requested edits or changes prior to postingManage pre‑planning and build‑out of the monthly content calendar: compile upcoming priority releases, campaigns, awards milestones, and key datesAssist Social Media & Content Manager with DM inquiries as directedOutreach CoordinationManage all studio and client outreach following initial introduction by the Social Media & Content ManagerLog all communications and follow‑ups to internal teams and tracking systems to keep on content deliverables on deadlineHandle all US short form project outreach and coordination, including creative and copy administrationYouTube & Platform ManagementManage YouTube channel uploads, video titles, tagging, and Shorts at the direction of the Social Media & Content Manager or Creative Director.Film Festival AdministrationTrack and maintain film festival lists with key dates, events, communications and detailsRespond to new festival inquiries, schedule intake meetings, and manage renewals for established festival relationshipsCoordinate branded deliverables, follow up on contract execution with Brand Marketing Director, and manage all related festival communicationsSolicit grant documentation and coordinate recipient follow‑up communications and questionsCoordinate with internal events coordinator to arrange badge/pass distribution to sales staffSystems & Data ManagementMaintain current contact information, handles, and relationship notes for any new/ongoing influencer relationshipsPerform data entry and records management across Airtable bases and Sprout Social including awards season win/loss data, festival dates, campaign trackingCross‑Functional SupportProvide administrative and organizational support to the broader brand marketing team as neededSupport PR/Editorial and Creative teams with coordination tasks as directedSkills requiredStrong written communication skills a must; ability to draft copy across multiple brand voicesMinimum 1–2 years of professional experience in communications, social media, marketing, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience managing social media content workflows across multiple platformsProficiency with Sprout Social or comparable social media scheduling platformFamiliarity with Airtable or comparable project management and data tracking toolsExperience with digital asset management platforms (Brandfolder or similar)Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines independentlyComfortable working remotely and communicating asynchronously across time zonesDetail‑oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entryExperience with YouTube channel management a plusBackground in or familiarity with the entertainment, film, or media industry a plusWork Environment and Physical DemandsThis job operates in a professional office environment.
