Location: Remote (Michigan candidates strongly preferred)
Shift Time: Full-time, 40 hours/week; must be available to work weekends and any assigned shift after training. Training will be Monday-Friday during business hours.
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer questions, concerns, and complaints through written communication channels.
- Manage customer cases that originate from social media platforms and are routed through an internal ticketing system.
- Research issues and leverage available resources to provide accurate resolutions.
- Maintain professional, empathetic, and grammatically correct written communication.
- Handle multiple customer interactions while meeting service-level expectations and deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve customer concerns.
- Participate in coaching, training, and ongoing development opportunities.
- Adapt to changing schedules, priorities, and business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (no exceptions).
- Strong customer service experience.
- Excellent written communication, grammar, and attention to detail.
- Experience supporting customers through written channels such as email, chat, ticketing systems, or online support.
- Ability to professionally handle difficult or dissatisfied customers.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work weekends and maintain a flexible schedule.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience with customer support ticketing systems.
- Experience in email, chat, or digital customer service environments.
- Strong research and troubleshooting abilities.
- Michigan-based candidates preferred.
