We are seeking a creative and socially savvy Social Media Content Creator to support our brand's organic social media initiatives on a part-time contract basis. This role is responsible for creating engaging social content, editing short-form videos and graphics, identifying real-time social trends, and supporting community engagement during live sports and entertainment events. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong video editing and graphic design skills, a deep understanding of internet culture, and the ability to independently generate creative content ideas.
Create and edit short-form video content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, and other digital channels.
Design engaging graphics and branded visual assets for social media campaigns.
Support organic social media content needs across multiple campaigns and initiatives.
Assist with or conduct interviews with television talent and edit footage into engaging social media content.
Monitor social media channels and actively engage with audiences during live sports, entertainment events, and other brand activations.
Identify and capitalize on trending topics, cultural moments, memes, and real-time conversations to increase brand engagement.
Pitch and develop original social content ideas with minimal direction.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, visual identity, and platform best practices.
Collaborate with internal marketing and brand teams to support promotions, product launches, tune-in campaigns, interviews, sports programming, and other marketing initiatives.
Be available to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to support live events and high-impact social moments.

2–6 years of experience in social media management, content creation, video editing, or digital content production.
Proven experience creating engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Facebook.
Strong video editing and graphic design skills.
Ability to identify social media trends, internet culture, and real-time engagement opportunities.
Experience creating short-form video content optimized for social platforms.
Strong creative thinking with the ability to independently develop and execute content ideas.
Experience in sports and/or entertainment is highly preferred.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop) and Figma is preferred. Candidates experienced with CapCut or Canva will also be considered if they can maintain brand standards.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Portfolio or work samples showcasing social media content creation and editing experience are highly preferred.
Ability to work a flexible 20-hour/week schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends during live events.
