Social Media Intern

Are you creative, self-motivated, and passionate about social media and storytelling? We're looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Intern to help bring our organization's work to life through engaging photos and videos.In this hands-on role, you'll visit various ACCEL locations throughout the Phoenix/Tempe area to capture authentic moments, activities, and experiences featuring our students, clients, and adult members. Your content will help support our social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and publicity efforts.If you have a creative eye, enjoy being behind the camera, and want to build your portfolio while gaining real-world experience in social media marketing, we'd love to hear from you!Must Haves:Familiarity with social media guidelines for non-profits.Strong editing skills for graphic design.Experience using Canva, Dropbox, and video editing tools such as Capcut.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate with ACCEL's Marketing Coordinator to maximize ACCEL's external exposure.Utilize ACCEL's weekly and monthly social media calendar.Take videos and still photographs to promote ACCEL and ensure consistent and engaging social media posts.Create and edit short-form videos.Qualifications Requirements:Must be 18 years of age or older, requiredMust have a valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain oneCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in marketing, communications, or a related fieldMust have reliable transportation to travel to ACCEL's various locationsEducation and Experience:GED or High School Diploma, required
