Summary



We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to support the TFC (The Freeman Company) brand presence across various social media channels. This role will be responsible for supporting a cohesive social strategy for the TFC collective of brands and for several of the individual brands as well, such as Studio Blue and Freeman. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media content creation, with a strong understanding of various platforms and their respective audiences and trends. This role will also have an extensive background in brand social media as a content creator and storyteller. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, producing, and implementing strategies and content to build a robust and impactful brand social media presence. This position will be an active contributor to the social content engine and will be expected to find and identify engaging stories across the enterprise, often capturing or creating the visual content to bring the story to life. This position will support our Marketing team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week, based out of our headquarters in Dallas, TX.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities



Social Strategy & Content Creation


+ Ideate, plan, and produce content across social platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, and other relevant channels

+ Capture and edit video content for social channels

+ Write engaging copy for social content

+ Create and design social media graphics as needed

+ Manage the social media content calendar

+ Stay on top of trends in social media and identify opportunities to drive follower and viewer growth

+ Manage multiple projects across several teams while meeting established deadlines


Collaboration & Engagement


+ Work collaboratively across other teams and workgroups within the enterprise to identify stories, capture rich media assets, and deliver business outcomes

+ Lead social media integration with broader marketing, brand, product, and PR strategies

+ Support social community management by tagging, commenting, and engaging with audiences and key accounts on relevant platforms


Analytics & Reporting


+ Regularly analyze platform performance, optimizing content and channel strategy for engagement and business KPIs.

+ Consistently share plans, performance, and insights to cross-functional stakeholders

+ Deliver actionable performance reports, share social listening insights, and recommend data-driven pivots.


Marketing Team Support


+ Travel, attend, and cover live events to capture content as needed

+ As time permits, this position may expand to support other marketing programs and initiatives

+ Other responsibilities may be assigned based on needs


Education & Experience



+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related communication studies is required

+ 3 - 5 years of social media experience, ideally in a fast-paced, cross-functional agency or brand role

+ Proven ability to own and execute strategy, create platform-native content, and collaborate across teams

+ Excellent communication skills and attention to detail: written, verbal and presentation

+ Passion for unique ideas and inspiration with the ability to make them happen

+ Ability to understand and interpret social media analytics

+ Experience with content editing tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, CapCut, and Edits

+ Experience using social media management platforms such as Sprout Social, Sprinklr, or HootSuite

+ An early adopter of new media, social trends, and technology

+ Established history of improving the scope, quality, and reach of a brand social media account

+ Extensive understanding of relevant generative AI platforms, tools, and prompts

+ Background in AV Production or live events preferred
