    Description

    CLASSIFICATION: Federal Work Study

    DEPARTMENT: Marketing and Admissions

    REPORTS TO: Associate Director of Marketing and Admissions

    LOCATION: Trenton, Missouri-Main Campus

    Position Summary: Provide a wide range of Marketing & Communication services for all departments, faculty members, employees and students of North Central Missouri College. Recruit and represent NCMC at various events and efforts on and off campus.

    Essential Functions: Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to

    • Assist with graphic design, photo-video productions, and internal/external communications, news bulletins and events.
    • Assist with editorial and proofreading efforts of marketing projects to ensure consistency of voice, style, and content.
    • Assist with NCMC's social media presence by updating official NCMC account profiles as directed.
    • Be available to attend/photograph on-campus events, including some evenings and weekends.
    • Work independently on assigned projects/campaigns.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    Experience: Experience in graphic design and digital media, including multiple social media platforms and content creation preferred.

    Skills: Content development, including writing, editing, proofreading, publication production, social media. Proven organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.

    Physical Demands: Moving about between buildings on campus; ascending and descending stairs; reaching, pulling, and pushing when filing; able to do repetitive tasks; remain stationary at a desk for extended periods of time while typing and answering phones.

    Environmental Demands: Fluctuations while moving on tile and carpeted floors in a heated and air conditioned environment.
