The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing, creating, and managing engaging content that promotes Golden Nugget Cripple Creek's brand, gaming experiences, hotel amenities, dining outlets, entertainment offerings, promotions, and special events. This position serves as the property's primary content creator, capturing and sharing compelling stories that drive guest engagement, increase brand awareness, and support overall business objectives.
The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, highly organized, and passionate about social media, hospitality, and guest experiences. This role works closely with all departments to showcase the excitement and unique experiences that make Golden Nugget Cripple Creek a premier gaming and entertainment destination.
Responsibilities:
Social Media & Content Creation
- Serve as the primary content creator for all Golden Nugget Cripple Creek social media platforms.
- Create, edit, schedule, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos throughout the property to promote gaming, hotel, dining, entertainment, promotions, jackpots, guest experiences, and Team Members.
- Develop short-form video content, reels, stories, and other digital assets designed to increase engagement and brand visibility.
- Create monthly content calendars that align with promotional and business objectives.
- Ensure all content reflects Golden Nugget brand standards and company values.
- Identify and capitalize on trending social media opportunities while maintaining brand consistency.
Community Engagement & Brand Management
- Monitor social media channels daily and engage with guests in a professional, timely, and positive manner.
- Respond to comments, messages, reviews, and guest inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
- Build positive relationships with guests, influencers, community organizations, and media partners.
- Promote brand awareness through community involvement and on-property activations.
Marketing Support
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of casino promotions, special events, entertainment programs, and property-wide marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop and promote key business initiatives.
- Coordinate the delivery of marketing materials, promotional assets, and internal communications.
- Assist in the production of printed and digital marketing collateral, signage, and promotional materials.
- Maintain marketing inventory, promotional items, and branded merchandise.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics.
- Track audience growth, engagement rates, campaign results, and content effectiveness.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to improve marketing performance and guest engagement.
- Stay current with emerging social media trends, digital marketing best practices, and competitive market activity.
Guest Service
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor at all times.
- Deliver exceptional service consistent with Golden Nugget standards.
- Promote a positive image of the property through all guest interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent photography, videography, and content creation skills.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation software preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support events and content creation opportunities.
