Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related degree or 3 years related experience
Must demonstrate an understanding of website development & layout, management and web technology
Strong writer and editor, with emphasis on story/contextual editing, and excellent communication, organizational and planning skills
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Proficient working with industry standard products for image creation, Adobe Graphics Suite and Macromedia
Knowledge of using Microsoft Office Suite
Creating and changing JPG, GIF and PNG images
Employee is responsible for creation, development, and collection of agency communications content (internal and external) including e-communications, social media, news releases, newsletters, and other online-based communication outlets. Additionally, employee will advocate and communicate to Franklin County Children Services audiences in various electronic formats the agency's mission, programs, and initiatives.
