    SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

    The Social Programming Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the hotel's guest-facing programming, including wellness offerings, nighttime activities, and social/guest experience activations. This role works closely with the Guest Experience team to design and deliver engaging, on-brand programming that reflects the PUBLIC ethos and elevates the guest stay from arrival to departure. This is a fast-paced, guest-facing position requiring creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and flexibility across varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • ? Plan, coordinate, and execute the hotel's calendar of guest programming, including wellness activities, nighttime events, and social/guest experience activations.
    • ? Develop creative, on-brand programming concepts that align with the PUBLIC guest experience and brand standards.
    • ? Coordinate wellness offerings (e.g., fitness classes, mindfulness sessions, spa/wellness partnerships) including scheduling, vendor/instructor coordination, and space setup.
    • ? Plan and host nighttime activities and social programming, ensuring smooth execution from setup through breakdown.
    • ? Serve as an on-property host for programming and activities, engaging directly with guests to create memorable, personal experiences.
    • ? Coordinate logistics for each activity or event, including space reservations, equipment, signage, staffing, and vendor coordination.
    • ? Maintain and update the programming calendar and communicate schedules to relevant departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Marketing).
    • ? Partner with Marketing to promote programming through in-house channels, digital signage, and social media as needed.
    • ? Monitor guest feedback and participation to continually refine and improve programming offerings.
    • ? Manage supply and equipment needs for programming, ensuring adequate inventory and proper upkeep.
    • ? Track and manage programming budgets and vendor costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • ? Resolve guest concerns related to programming and activities, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
    • ? Properly handle VIP guests and accommodate special requests whenever possible.
    • ? Must be knowledgeable about PUBLIC, e.g., location, cuisine, amenities, and neighborhood offerings.
    • ? Ensure all programming is executed in compliance with PUBLIC SOPs, hotel policies, and local laws.
    • ? Ensure compliance with all hotel safety policies and procedures during all activities and events.
    • ? Attend all mandatory meetings and training classes.
    • ? Assist other departments when needed, providing lateral service.
    • ? Execute all other responsibilities, tasks, and special projects as assigned by leadership.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • ? A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in guest experience, event coordination, recreation/wellness programming, or hospitality.
    • ? Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • ? Must have the ability to report to work on time and when scheduled.
    • ? Strong creative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and timelines simultaneously.
    • ? Be attentive, accountable, highly organized, and capable of multitasking.
    • ? Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • ? Have an upbeat, energetic, authentic, and professional attitude.
    • ? Comfortable engaging with and hosting groups of guests.
    • ? Participate in a team environment.
