NORTHEAST DELTA HUMAN SERVICES AUTHORITY MISSION:
Serve as a catalyst for individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive disorders to help them realize their full human potential by offering quality, excellent care with greater accessibility.
Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Social Service Counselor 3 to facilitate the SPOE process of the Integrated Care System across Region 8 Community and hospital treatment setting for all consumer groups. This role will monitor the regional bed allocation process whereby the Region can access its allocation of intermediate care inpatient beds and will also ensure compliance with continuity of care policy. The person in this position is also the primary timekeeper for Monroe Integrated Care Clinic.

Minimum Qualifications
Five years of social services experience; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus two years of social services experience; OR
A bachelors degree plus two years of social services experience; OR
An advanced degree in a social sciences field plus one year of social services experience.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Positions that provide addictive disorder counseling or prevention services will require certification or eligibility for certification issued by the Addictive Disorder Regulatory Authority (ADRA), or its successor.

Location: Bastrop Integrated Care Clinic
Compensation: NEDHSA is a designated approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.
(Full-time clinical practice is defined as no less than 40 hours per week, for a minimum of 45 weeks per year.)
