Summary Statement
A class incumbent is involved in social service work requiring client/worker interaction and is responsible for interviewing and soliciting information, assessing clients needs, filling out appropriate forms, and documenting all pertinent information to insure intake and eligibility requirements are met and service provisions are processed in an accurate and timely manner.

Additional Posting Information
Candidates must successfully complete all phases of the Non-Security Basic Training Course to receive Hazardous Duty A1. This course is five-weeks in duration and is administered by the Department of Correction Steven R. Floyd Sr. Training Academy. Coursework includes physical, classroom and hands-on training.
