Description: CIFC Norwalk Early Learning Program / Norwalk Head Start is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Service Coordinator to lead and support our Social Services team. This role provides both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to ensure comprehensive family support services that promote child and family well-being. The Social Service Coordinator supervises a team of approximately five (5) Social Services staff and plays a key role in strengthening community partnerships, promoting parent engagement, and ensuring compliance with program eligibility and enrollment requirements. Key Responsibilities * Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management to the Social Services team * Oversee program eligibility, enrollment processes, and ongoing compliance with Head Start and Early Learning Program requirements * Develop and maintain strong local community partnerships to support families' needs * Lead and coordinate parent involvement initiatives and family engagement activities * Support and integrate mental wellness and family support services within the program * Collaborate with program leadership and multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery * Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and adherence to all applicable regulations and standards * Coordinate enrollment recruitment and monitor enrollment eligibility standards for (ERSEA) Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance. Requirements: * Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related human services field * Preferred: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), or in pursuit. * Experience working with mental wellness or behavioral health services strongly preferred * Prior supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred * Knowledge of community-based services, family systems, and early childhood or Head Start programs is a plus * Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills * Bilingual capabilities are preferred.
