    About the Position

    POSITION TITLE: Social Services Program Coordinator III WORK LOCATION: 1170 West Railroad St., Long Beach, MS 39560 / HCBS-Waiver, Support Coordination PAY: $40,286.40.00 SCHEDULE/SHIFTS: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as Support Coordinator (SC) for people enrolled in the Home and Community-Based ID/DD Waiver program. Manages and maintains caseload of people receiving ID/DD Waiver services. Develops and maintains a person-centered Plan of Services and Supports (PSS) for each person on caseload. Revises/updates each person's PSS at least annually or when changes in the person's circumstances occur or when requests are made by the person/legal representative. Coordinates and monitors identified supports and services through regular monthly contact, face to face quarterly reviews, and annual assessment and re-certification meetings. Ensures services are adequate, appropriate, and meet the person's needs. Travel throughout the six southern counties will be required.     Preferred Qualifications

    Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 4-7 years of experience and one year of experience working with people with IDD. Please attach your proof of education. Must be eligible to drive a State of Mississippi vehicle. Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 4-7 years of experience and one (1) year of experience working with people with IDD. Must be eligible to drive a State of Mississippi vehicle. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or above in an IDD-related field and no related experience; Bachelor's degree or above in an unrelated field and at least one (1) year of IDD-related experience.     Paid Personal Leave and Sick Leave

    Full-time employees receive paid time off for personal needs and for sick leave. Leave begins accruing after one month of employment and may be used as it is accrued. Employees earn approximately 18 days of personal leave annually and 12 days of sick leave annually.

    In accordance with federal law, all employees serving in the armed forces or the military reserves are entitled to 15 days per year for military training.
