About the Agency
The Mississippi Division of Medicaid responsibly provides access to quality health coverage for vulnerable Mississippians. Medicaid provides health coverage for eligible, low-income populations in Mississippi. These populations include children, low-income families, pregnant women, the aged and disabled.
About the Position
This is a time limited position (NS-14). This position is responsible for providing case management for beneficiaries enrolled in the Assisted Living Waiver; assessing applicants for enrollment; monthly contacts, quarterly contacts, and annual reassessments with the beneficiaries; on site reviews of Medicaid approved Assisted Living Waiver facilities to determine compliance.
What youll need to be Successful
Background knowledge of Home and Community Based Services- Assisted Living Waiver; experience in applying social work knowledge to provide quality care; case management experience; great organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience. Hiring agency preferred qualifications: Current active Mississippi Licensed Social Worker with four years of direct social work experience with vulnerable adults. Experience in Long Term Care/HCBS is beneficial.
