St. Michael-St. Gabriel, located on the west side of Indianapolis, is hiring a middle school/ junior high Social Studies teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in all core curricular areas
- Create a positive environment that supports students academic, social, and emotional development
- Differentiate instruction to meet different learning styles
- Assess student progress regularly and use data to adjust instruction where needed
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with student families
- Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance instruction
- Uphold school policies as outlined by the administration
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in History or related field preferred
- Valid state teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
