Social Value Advisor

You will be working in the Technology and Sustainability Enabling Function based at our Lower Thames Crossing Project in where we are responsible for harnessing digital transformation and innovation to meet ambitious climate goals and deliver sustainable solutions for our customers. Our Infrastructure team brings design build and refurbishment excellence to complex civil engineering projects nationwide - combining technical expertise with a passion for creating lasting value for people and places. We are currently looking for a Social Value Advisor who will support the delivery of Skanska UKs Social Value Strategy and our customers social value ambitions across projects and contracts. As the Social Value Advisor you will Support the implementation of social value requirements commitments and targets across projects and contracts. Provide professional advice on social value risks opportunities legislation policy requirements and best practice to project teams customers and supply chain partners. Work with project stakeholders to embed social value controls and initiatives into project activities and delivery plans. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers local authorities community organisations educational providers employment partners and supply chain stakeholders. Lead and facilitate meetings with project stakeholders clearly communicating social value objectives progress and opportunities. Monitor measure and report social value performance ensuring accurate data collection and compliance with reporting requirements. We are looking for Experience delivering social value community engagement sustainability responsible business or related activities. Understanding of social value frameworks customer requirements and reporting methodologies. Experience working with multiple stakeholders including project teams customers local authorities and community organisations. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage a wide range of audiences. Excellent written communication skills including experience drafting reports plans bid responses and performance updates. Experience reviewing policies legislation or technical requirements and translating them into practical actions. Willingness to travel to project locations where required.
