Pay Rate: $58 per hour - $62 per hour
Summary:
- AM - 9hr
- 36hr Days, Monday - Thursday, 9hr shifts
- Flexibility needed, on-call required
- Weekends and Holidays if on-call
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate onboarding and competency development for new social work staff.
- Provide individual and group education on documentation standards, assessments, interventions, family engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Conduct chart audits, provide documentation feedback, and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide clinical supervision, coaching, mentoring, and consultation to LCSWs and social work staff.
- Assess staff development needs and develop training resources to support clinical excellence.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to support implementation of practice changes, new programs, and departmental initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to promote consistent standards of practice, improve outcomes, and support staff growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Social Work, including psychosocial assessments, social determinants of health (SDOH) evaluation, abuse/neglect assessments, discharge planning, care coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Experience providing clinical supervision, staff support/coaching, documentation review, and clinical consultation preferred.
- Acute care experience required.
- Required Certifications: MA LICSW.
- Must be willing to float to multiple units, as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Academic Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma Centers, and Safety Net Hospitals.
