Passionate about supporting student wellness and mental health? Cross Country Education is seeking a School Social Worker to support a diverse K–12 student population in Sebring, FL during the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Overview:
Participate in Child Study, Collaborative Problem Solving, and IEP meetings to assess student needs and develop integrated intervention plans.
Conduct student observations, interviews, and assessments across school and home settings while connecting families with appropriate community resources.
Maintain accurate case documentation, reports, and student records while ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to address barriers to learning and promote student engagement and academic success.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Social Work/Social Welfare preferred; Bachelor’s degree considered with current School Social Worker Certification
Active Florida School Social Worker Certification or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Credential
Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
