About this Job
The Mission of ELMHS is to provide mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation for adults. Programs include inpatient interventions, jail-based evaluations, supervised group home and residential programs, forensic evaluation, care, custody, and aftercare; intermediate and long-term psychiatric services are coordinated with the total system of care in Louisiana
ELMHS is seeking a passionate Social Worker to deliver client-centered services, including assessment, case management, crisis intervention, and community resource coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations facing mental health challenges, trauma, or crises.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Certified Social Worker (CSW) plus:
A masters degree in social work.
NOTE:
Permanent status will not be granted in this job title without LMSW or LCSW licensure in Louisiana; Certified Social Worker (CSW) credential will not be accepted for granting permanent status.

$23.75 an hour or $1900.00 bi-weekly for Social Worker 1
$25.42 an hour or $2033.60 bi-weekly for Social Worker 2
$27.20 an hour or $2176.00 bi-weekly for Social Worker 3
$29.10 an hour or $2328.00 bi-weekly for Social Worker 4
This position is eligible for Longevity Pay starting at $2.00 Per Hour Physically Worked
