Location: Goshen, NY Type: Full-Time / State Agency Assignment

Position Summary

Penda Aiken Inc. is a staffing firm located in Brooklyn, New York. Our client is seeking a Children’s Intensive Case Manager (ICM) / Social Worker to support individuals and families in managing care plans, resource coordination, and service access.

This is a fast-paced role requiring high reliability, punctuality, and the ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities

• 
  Assessment & Planning: Assessing individuals, developing individual care plans, and determining necessary resources.
  
• 
  Advocacy & Support: Advocating for and assisting individuals and families in accessing and obtaining services.
  
• 
  Service Coordination: Contacting service providers and attending interdisciplinary conferences to determine appropriate placement and referrals.
  
• 
  Goal Monitoring: Monitoring individual rehabilitation goals and progress.
  
• 
  Crisis Management: Providing crisis intervention services.
  
• 
  Travel: Travel is required; a state vehicle will be provided for use.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 
  Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW).
  
• 
  Supervision Requirement: Working under the supervision of a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or New York State LCSWs.
  
• 
  Licensure/Certifications: Valid driver's license.
  
• 
  Training: OMH required training will be provided by OMH.
  

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 
  Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
  
• 
  Duration: Anticipated to last 6 months (not guaranteed).
