**Position: Social Worker IAT - Child Protective Services**
In the event we are unable to recruit a qualified SW IAandT a lesser qualified applicant may behired in a work-against status at a lower rate of pay. Social Worker I, II, and III may beconsidered.
Salary would be based on qualifications.
**Hiring Range**: $53,250 - $60,245
**Description:**
As a Social Worker IAT you will play a critical role in protecting vulnerable children from abuse,neglect, and exploitation. This position involves conducting investigations, assessing risk, anddeveloping intervention plans to ensure client safety and well-being.
**Key responsibilities include:**Investigating reports of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation.Conducting client assessments to determine needs and risk levels.Coordinating services and interventions with community resources and legal authorities.Advocating for client safety and well-being while respecting autonomy and legal guidelines.Serves on-call rotation and serves as back up for APS unit.
**Education and experience requirements:**
- A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with one year of social work experience; a Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) with two years of social work or counseling experience;
- A Master's degree in a counseling field with two years of social work or counseling experience;
- A four-year degree in human services or a related field with three years of social work or counseling experience; or
- A four-year degree in any field with four years of experience in social work, rehabilitation counseling, pastoral counseling, or a related human services field, including experience in casework, group work, or community organization.
- An equivalent combination of training and experience may also be considered.
