Social Worker

T & K Pediatric Services is looking for a Social Worker to join our Early Intervention team. This position provides services to infants and young children and their families in a collaborative, family-focused environment.

Early Intervention is centered around supporting children during the earliest years of development. In this role, you will work with families to identify developmental needs, establish goals, provide support and intervention, and connect families with resources that can help their child succeed at home and in the community.

Position Responsibilities

• Complete developmental assessments and evaluations for infants and young children
• Participate in determining appropriate developmental goals and intervention strategies
• Provide Early Intervention services based on each child's individual needs
• Work directly with parents and caregivers to support their child's development
• Provide families with practical strategies and activities they can incorporate into everyday routines
• Coordinate with other professionals involved in the child's care
• Communicate with families, childcare providers, medical professionals, and community resources as appropriate
• Monitor developmental progress and make recommendations based on the child's changing needs
• Complete required documentation accurately and within established timelines
• Attend team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing training
• Maintain professional, respectful, and confidential relationships with families and team members

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in one of the following areas:
  • Social Work
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Early Childhood Special Education
  • Nursing
  • Speech-Language Pathology
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physical Therapy
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain the North Dakota license, credential, certification, or registration required for the position
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children with developmental differences is preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood development and family-centered intervention
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Comfortable managing documentation and multiple responsibilities
• Able to work independently while also communicating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Our Early Intervention team works with young children and families in the places where children live, learn, and participate in their daily routines. The work is collaborative and individualized, with an emphasis on helping families develop strategies they can use throughout their child's everyday activities.
