Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Outpatient - RWJBarnabas Health

The LCSW plays an essential role in supporting patients and their support systems while contributing to integrated, patient-centered care.
A typical day for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker may include:
- Provide psychotherapy services to mental health consumers in the Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder Center, including those who have suffered a pregnancy loss
- Conduct new patient evaluations and provide ongoing individual therapy
- Facilitate group therapy and/or support groups as needed
- Works in collaboration with APN and PMAD team regarding patient treatment
- Prepares and maintains records and reports regarding patient treatment and progress as required by regulatory standards and organizational policy

To be considered for this Licensed Clinical Social Worker opportunity:
- This part-time, 20-hours a week position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am - 4:30pm, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining a work-life balance.
- A Master's Degree in Social Work and a current New Jersey LCSW license is required
- PMH-C Certification is preferred or must be obtained within 2 years of employment
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in psychotherapy practice is required
- 6 months of experience in an outpatient setting is preferred
- A track record of success working in an environment of collaboration, transparency, mutual respect, and shared passion for excellence and innovation is required
