Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)

Position Summary
Penda Aiken Inc. is a staffing firm located in Brooklyn, New York. Our client is a New York State Agency and is seeking an LMSW professional to join the Rockland Adolescent Intensive Day Treatment program at Riverview High School.

This is a fast-paced role requiring high reliability, punctuality, and the ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities

• 
  Caseload Management: Maintain a caseload of children in grades 6th–12th participating in admissions within a short-term clinical mental health program.
  
• 
  Therapeutic & Crisis Intervention Services: Provide individual, group, and family therapy, as well as crisis intervention services.
  
• 
  Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Function actively as part of an interdisciplinary team and participate in weekly treatment team meetings.
  
• 
  Resource Linkage & Documentation: Link youth to community-based resources and maintain timely medical record documentation.
  
• 
  Discharge Planning: Facilitate thorough discharge planning and necessary follow-up care.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 
  Licensure: LMSW License required.
  
• 
  Schedule & Assignment: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Approximately 7-month assignment; not guaranteed).
  
• 
  Background Check: Selected candidates must complete and clear fingerprinting and the Statewide Central Register (SCR).
  
• 
  Vaccination & Health Requirements:
  
  • 
    Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) (titers or vaccine)
    
  • 
    Varicella (titers, vaccine, or MD documentation of disease history)
    
  • 
    Hepatitis B blood work, vaccine, or a signed declination
    
  • 
    PPD or QuantiFERON test
    
• 
  Required Training: Must complete OMH-provided training, including:
  
  • 
    New Employee Orientation Training (NEO) (2 days – Thursday & Friday)
    
  • 
    Therapeutic Relationship Universal Training (TRUST) and Youth Empowers Strategy (YES) (5 days – Monday through Friday)
    

Additional Details

• 
  Allowable Hours: Maximum allowable hours for the term are up to 2,080 regular hours, 16 overtime hours, and 128 holiday hours (hours are not guaranteed).
