Staff Social Worker — Steuben County, NY
Steuben County, New York is seeking licensed social work and mental health professionals to join its Community Services team in mission-driven public service roles supporting individuals and families throughout the Southern Tier region.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct intake, assessment, and screening activities
Provide individual, group, and family therapy services
Develop treatment plans and support rehabilitation efforts
Coordinate services with schools, healthcare providers, probation, law enforcement, and community agencies
Respond to mental health crises and support client stabilization
Maintain case documentation and treatment records
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge coordination
Connect clients and families with governmental and community resources
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university
Current New York State licensure and registration as:
LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker), OR
LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), OR
LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor)
Ability to assess mental health and substance abuse needs and develop treatment plans
Strong communication, documentation, crisis intervention, and collaboration skills
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $55,936–$69,294 DOQ and bargaining unit provisions
