Social Worker Therapist, LMSW, Queens

LMSW social worker needed for a temp to perm therapist role, part-time (and in-person), 2 full days/week on Wednesdays and Fridays, 8am-4pm, at a mental health clinic in Queens.

The therapist will provide outpatient mental health treatment at an Article 31 mental health clinic for older adults in South Jamaica, Queens. The social worker will work very closely with a larger treatment team consisting of a Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Peer Advocates and a Registered Nurse. The social worker will receive clinical supervision, enabling work towards clinical hours, and participate in case conference meetings.

This is an agency with robust growth opportunities. Many staff obtain their clinical hours and LCSW while working at the agency, and then move on to obtain supervisory roles within the agency.

When the position is temporary, the hourly pay rate would be determined based on assessment and various factors. When permanent, the annual salary would be prorated hourly for part-time based on the full-time salary of $60,000-$65,000.
