We are working with a well-established, privately held software company in Irvine that is looking to add a Software Analyst to their team. Business Analysts will also be considered. The right candidate will own the process from scoping what is needed, converting loosely defined requests into clear documentation developers can act on, and validating results before anything ships.
Desired Skills
2+ years in a business analyst, systems analyst, or technical project coordination capacity where you were defining scope and gathering requirements rather than receiving finished specs and executing on them
Ability to take an incomplete or vague ask and produce clear documentation, specs, and testable criteria that a developer or data team can work from, along with hands-on experience validating results and tracking defects
Some exposure to SQL at a basic query level. The bar is comfort and willingness, not expertise
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams, and comfort participating in roughly one customer-facing onboarding call per week
This is a hybrid role based in Irvine with 2 days onsite per week.
They offer full benefits, 401K, growth and a hybrid culture. If this sounds of interest please apply.
