The successful candidate will be detail oriented, have a proven track record and a positive work ethic. Job SummaryQTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidate will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs. The selected Analyst will primarily analyze test data to help verify the system design. Additionally, the selected Analyst will support the software development team with verifying requirements with automated verification and testing tools. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in analysis and testing of a software-intensive system in a variety of test environments/venues, utilizing Agile development. This position will require a strong, self-starting individual capable of diving into problems with assistance from other test engineers and software developers. Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following: Assist the software development team in verifying requirements using automated verification and testing toolsPossess knowledge and experience in the analysis and testing of a software-intensive system across a variety of test environments/venues, using Agile development Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degreeActive DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application is highly preferred; or certification must be obtained within 40 days of the start date. Certification must be maintained throughout employment Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment dailyExperience with automated testing for requirement verificationExposure to programming languages such as Java and C#Prior experience testing and verifying requirements for software applications and systemsConducting an analysis of collected dataDevelopment of action plans based on data analysisDocumenting software deficiency reportsPresenting analysis results and action plans verbally and/or in written formats such as slides, annotated slides, or test report documentsOccasional travel between Colorado Springs facilities and sites (including Schriever SFB) and Huntsville, ALThis position will require a strong, self-starting individual capable of diving into problems, with assistance from other test engineers and software developersExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as neededSelf-motivated and customer-oriented Desired Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPrior experience in an Agile development processPerformance requirement and verification analysisVerification of ICD and interface requirementsExperience in a DevSecOps environment is extremely desirable Security ClearanceCandidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
