Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect (Subject Matter Expert) to lead the design and modernization of enterprise healthcare applications within a cloud-native environment. This role is responsible for defining scalable architecture solutions, guiding engineering teams, and driving modernization initiatives using microservices and AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design scalable, secure, and cloud-native enterprise architectures
Lead modernization initiatives from legacy systems to microservices-based solutions
Define architecture standards, integration patterns, and best practices
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
Design RESTful APIs and distributed system communication patterns
Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders
Conduct architecture reviews and technical assessments
Support cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in software development and architecture
Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
Experience with microservices and distributed systems
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
Experience with REST APIs and enterprise integrations
Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
Strong understanding of scalability, resiliency, and system performance
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare or regulated environments
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems
Experience with Agile development methodologies
