Brief Overview of Position:
Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) is seeking candidates for a Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist role to support a DHS client where we are focused on delivering innovative operations and solutions through proven successful methods. This individual is responsible for supporting the delivery of all program activities for an organization's software asset management (SAM) requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all Software Licensing Optimization (SLO) and Procurement Support tasks
- Must provide the organization with knowledge of industry standard licensing models as well as core specialization in major software publishers deployed
- Support the Project Manager to meet project work statement requirements
- Support alignment with DHS and USCIS systems, policies, and operational priorities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- More than 8 years of experience providing software asset management and licensing expertise to organizations
Skills and Competencies
- Strong Flexera background is preferred
- Experience with DHS systems preferred
