Duration: 12-18 months

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid remote 3 days onsite)

Pay Scale: $65-67/hr W2 (Cannot subcontract or C2C)

Job Description:

Matlen Silver is currently recruiting for a Software Delivery Project Manager to support our client's Global Markets Technology team in Uptown Charlotte. This role is a hybrid position responsible for driving both strategic technology initiatives and hands-on project delivery ensuring solutions are aligned, scalable, and well-controlled. You will also be responsible for ensuring the ongoing stability, resilience, and risk management of applications that enable key business partner capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage software development tasks, business expectations and drive project delivery while ensuring alignment to long term strategy.
• Participates in development or integration of lean / efficiency initiatives into technology.
• Adhere to Enterprise Change standards for Program and Project Management (Program deliverables, tollgates, system of record updates, change controls, permit to build requirements and more).
• Provide guidance and coaching to software developers within programs to ensure timely process metrics is tracked / reported.
• Provide program updates in both written and verbal formats to senior leadership.
• Manage program budget including monthly forecasting, variance commentary and resource allocations
• Lead program delivery management routines and provide leadership support for senior level portfolio deliverables, reporting and management routines.

Desired Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in managing and delivering custom software development technology projects.
• Ability to manage business requirements and expectations to deliver technology capabilities across multiple strategies and projects.
• Ability to lead development teams in partnership with project management to deliver capabilities on time and within budget.
• Identifies and manages risk/dependencies and quantifies the impact it has on the business/technology and what controls are to be used to resolve.
• Strong knowledge of products and services at functional and data level within their business area.
• Ability to perform or support continuous integration and deployment activities within their role. Understanding and appreciation for DevOps culture.
• Has contributed to the development of custom applications based on a design provided by others.
