Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and implementing automated test suites, CI/CD integration, and defect analysis and a proven ability to improve test coverage, ensure software quality, and support release readiness for prototype devices and builds.
Top 3 must have hard skills:
Software engineering - 5+ years
Software automated testing - 1+ years
Ability to independently drive technical work and deliver value - 3+ years
prefer experience with Android/Kotlin or C++ or other strongly-typed languages
Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for prototype devices, builds, and release environments.
* Build reusable tests for functional, regression, smoke, performance, and release validation scenarios.
* Execute automated plans and analyze results to diagnose failures and provide clear diagnostics.
* Contribute to scalable test automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
* Document and track defects, verify fixes, and report trends, risks, and coverage.
* Support release planning, regression, and post-release verification through automation.
* Deploy, configure, and maintain prototype devices and test environments for execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proficiency in test automation design and implementation, including CI/CD integration.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in defect diagnosis and reporting.
* Effective communication and collaboration with engineering, PM, and leadership teams.
* 5-7 years in software testing, test automation, or quality engineering.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with Android (mobile OS) and device-based testing.
* Background in Agile/Scrum environments and release pipelines.
