Key job responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize the cellular telephony framework and services layer on Android-based devices, delivering reliable voice, data, messaging, and connectivity experiences. This role owns the application processor side of the mobile telephony stack, integrating carrier requirements, platform telephony APIs, and cellular service features across various devices.

We own the cellular services on various devices, building the software that connects people through voice, data, and messaging every day. We work closely with OS platform teams, QA/certification, cloud services, and product management to deliver reliable connectivity experiences across diverse carrier networks and device configurations. We take ownership of the performance and reliability that users depend on for their most fundamental connectivity experiences.
