| Purpose of the Team and key projects | Workplace Trust is responsible for privacy and AI compliance for all Amazon workers. We are building a GenAI model, Bina, that will automatically review and approve applications to launch to the Amazon worker population. This role will join the Bina team and help build the model and automation capabilities. Bina is Amazon's AI-powered compliance orchestration primitive, enabling applications and data processing activities to be "born compliant. " We integrate with tools like AZA, Q CLI, and Pippin to provide builders with proactive, consolidated compliance guidance across Privacy, AI, Labor & Employment Legal, IXT, and EEO reducing review cycles and accelerating product launches. Our team sits within Workplace Trust and is building the infrastructure that makes compliance scalable, consistent, and developer-friendly. | ||

We're looking for a Software Development Engineer to help design, build, and scale Bina's agentic AI platform. You'll work at the intersection of generative AI, distributed systems, and compliance automation building the core primitive that thousands of Amazonians rely on to ship faster and safer. What You'll Do Design and implement Bina's serverless backend (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3) on AWS Build and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and tools that power Bina's agentic workflows Develop integrations with internal platforms (AZA, Q CLI, UBX, Kiro) to meet builders where they are Implement context management, prompt orchestration, and RAG pipelines using AWS Bedrock Build extensible frameworks that allow compliance teams to "Bring Your Own Wisdom " via scripted workflows Implement AuthN/AuthZ flows using CloudAuth and transitive authentication Develop feature flagging, prompt versioning, and monitoring systems to ensure reliable, auditable AI behavior Contribute to hallucination mitigation strategies, confidence scoring, and deterministic guardrails | ||
