We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II for a team responsible for building large-scale software solutions supporting complex operational environments. This team develops automation technologies and backend systems that help improve efficiency and decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and backend services.
• Write new production-quality code while enhancing and improving existing systems.
• Build metrics, dashboards, and monitoring capabilities to improve system visibility and performance.
• Design solutions using software engineering and system design principles.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Drive projects from concept and design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within production environments.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of professional software development experience is required.
• Hands-on experience developing applications using Java.
• Experience building and supporting production applications or backend services.
• Understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design, and system design principles.
• Experience delivering software products and features to end users.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing software solutions that leverage AI technologies.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or providing technical leadership.
• Experience working within large-scale, distributed technology environments.
• Experience supporting systems that process high-volume transactional or event-driven workloads.
