We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to develop our test automation initiatives, particularly in the context of embedded systems. In this role, you will be tasked
with architecting, maintaining, and optimizing robust automation frameworks, automated test suites designed to validate both the software and hardware interfaces of our products. The position involves close collaboration with development and QA teams to ensure seamless, high-quality product releases.
The ideal candidate will have experience with test automation frameworks, demonstrated expertise in
coding automated tests from the ground up, and a solid understanding of software development and
system integration principles. Specific expertise in embedded systems testing is essential, as this role
focuses on developing and executing test strategies that ensure the functionality, performance, and
reliability of our hardware-software integration. Candidates should have hands-on experience in
programming test suites for low-level software and hardware interfaces, ensuring the robustness and
reliability of our embedded products across various configurations.

performance metrics such as throughput, latency, and coverage.
- Collaborate with the engineering teams to understand the product architecture, identify
potential points of failure, and incorporate feedback into the testing strategy.
- Contribute to eero"s automation frameworks and infrastructure to help developer and QA teams
to implement test cases/suites.
- Analyze test results, report on system performance, and work closely with the development
team to address any issues or regressions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in wireless networking testing, and
continuously improve the testing infrastructure and processes.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in test automation and quality assurance practices for
wireless technologies.

At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter
