Requirements

• 15 years of JAVA experience
• 10 years of SQL database experience
• 8 years of experience in sustaining and developing large applications in a team environment
• 5 years of Linux experience

Preferences

• 8 years of experience with the Atlassian tool suite, especially JIRA
• 8 years of experience with Agile methodology
• 2 years of experience with State of Texas applications or Texas Department of Public Safety environment
• 2 years of experience transitioning applications from legacy mainframe environments to Java/SQL environment

Services are expected to start on 09/01/2026 and complete by 08/31/2027, with a total of 2080 estimated hours. This role offers the flexibility of telework with occasional on-site requirements at 5805 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752.
