Software Developer 3 / Full Stack Developer
We are seeking a senior Full Stack Software Developer to support enterprise application development, reporting solutions, cloud-based integrations, and legacy system modernization for a Texas public-sector client.
This role will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, testing, deploying, and supporting secure, scalable applications using .NET Core, C#, React JS, SQL Server, Oracle, Power BI, and Azure. The developer will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and IT teams in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core, C#, React JS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Build and support backend services, APIs, and frontend web applications.
Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, functions, and queries.
Perform Oracle data migration and support legacy system modernization.
Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, paginated reports, and data transformations.
Support cloud-based application development, deployment, monitoring, and security using Azure or similar cloud platforms.
Troubleshoot production issues across the full technology stack.
Use CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Required Skills:
11+ years of full stack development experience using .NET Core, C#, React JS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
11+ years of SQL Server experience, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
11+ years of Oracle experience, including Oracle data migration.
11+ years of Power BI experience, including dashboards, paginated reports, and data transformations.
11+ years of hands-on cloud platform experience, Azure preferred.
11+ years of CI/CD, Git, and DevOps tools experience.
11+ years of experience converting legacy applications to web-based solutions.
Knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting government, healthcare, public sector, or regulated environments.
Experience working with Texas state agencies.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred.
Possible extension to FY27.
