Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in Android app development, with a strong understanding of the Android SDK, different Android versions, and how to deal with screen sizes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Kotlin or Java for Android.
- Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for us on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Data Infrastructure and Demo automation.
- Knowledge of optimizing Android applications for performance improvements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy new features for Android-based tools to support customer and partner demos, ensuring scalability to accommodate increasing user loads and diverse device configurations.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for Android demo tools to ensure reliability, performance, and compatibility across various Android versions and devices.
- Optimize the performance of Android demo applications, focusing on reducing load times, improving responsiveness, and minimizing resource consumption.
