### Compensation $65.00 - $65.00 / Hourly ### Hours Per Week 40 ### Number Of Positions 1 ### Job Description Role Summary Provide senior-level software development support for mission-critical aviation programs. Design, build, and enhance cloud-enabled applications that support aviation operations and modernization initiatives. Work closely with engineers, architects, cybersecurity professionals, and program stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions. Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and participation in verification and validation activities. Responsibilities Support technical design activities and participate in architecture and design reviews Develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software applications for aviation programs Translate system and business requirements into well-structured, maintainable code Conduct peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and product stakeholders to meet application requirements Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression tests to validate functionality and performance Support application integration into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and system integration challenges Contribute to documentation, including technical design artifacts, user guides, and compliance materials Ensure solutions align with federal compliance requirements, security standards, and performance objectives Qualifications This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required. Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, or Master's degree and 6 years of experience, or Associate's degree and 10 years of experience, or High School diploma/equivalent and 12 years of experience Experience developing software using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar Experience designing and developing applications in cloud or hybrid environments Demonstrated experience developing RESTful APIs and working within microservices architectures Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Working knowledge of security-conscious development practices suitable for federal environments Publishing Pay Range: $65.00 - $70.00 hourly This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
