About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Software Developer Contractor to join a dynamic project team. In this role, you will contribute to developing, creating, and modifying software applications to meet business requirements, enhance system performance, and ensure the quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize software applications based on user needs and business requirements.
- Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software applications and integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in software development.
Requirements
- Experience building, delivering, or supporting AI-enabled solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks, or related AI technologies in enterprise environments.
- Understanding of Responsible AI principles, including AI governance, security, privacy, transparency, human oversight, and model evaluation best practices.
- Advanced to Expert level experience required.
- 10% travel to either Nashville or Tampa is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Python and/or .NET technologies for developing, integrating, and operationalizing AI-enabled applications and services.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot technologies, AI orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience developing, integrating, deploying, or operating AI-enabled applications in Azure cloud environments.
- Prior experience with most of the following: Angular, React, NodeJS, Python, C#, .NET, Java, SQL/NoSQL, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph, as well as unit testing frameworks.
