Software Developer

RMC is seeking a .NET / Software Developer to support our customer 100% on-site in Dahlgren, Virginia. The selected candidate will develop and maintain software solutions in a Department of Defense environment, contributing throughout the software development lifecycle-from translating customer requirements into functional solutions to testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support. This role is well suited to a detail-oriented developer with strong software life cycle management experience and an interest in building reliable applications for mission-focused users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain software functionality based on customer requirements.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop and support applications using .NET technologies and modern front-end frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Apply modern application architecture, responsive design, and user experience principles.
• Work within a DoD environment and support development activities using a DevSecOps pipeline.
• Use source control, participate in code reviews, and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with customers and team members using Agile/Scrum processes.
• Support SharePoint-based solutions, as needed.
