Software Developer (Data Engineer)

Job Title: Software DeveloperJob ID: #890Job DescriptionMultiple Openings. Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes. Design and code software and work in an agile environment to deliver software. Build lost cost and manageablescalable distributed storage, index, and query systems. Run predictions on distributed systems.Collaborate with customers and business analysts to understand and develop software based on user requirements. Participate in design review sessions to improve quality based on feedback and optimize existing designs. Analyze and improve existing systems, automate workflows, andreview limitations to enhance system capabilities. Design and develop User Interface (UI) screens for both mobile and desktop versions, ensuring a responsive experience. Developbackend functionalities to support UI, including the use of REST API calls for customer requestlogging and status updates. Develop and manage stored procedures, views, custom directives, and business logic encapsulated in User Defined Functions (UDFs). Design, develop, test, anddeploy RESTful APIs using JavaScript, Python, Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services for business logic and data retrieval. Build single-page applications (SPAs) using Angular (advanced features like lazy loading, routing, state management) and implement dynamic data rendering.Perform input validations on web forms and ensure secure handling of data between different database systems (SQL, Oracle). Implement continuous testing for system architecture, debugand validate software through multiple stages of deployment, ensuring quality and performance. Manage Git, Artifactory, and Jenkins for build, release, and configuration procedures, ensuring smooth application deployment. Document new requirements, system changes, and modifications based on feedback from customers and business analysts. Work with engineering, operations, and network planning teams to improve provisioning processes and enhance service fulfillment workflows. Work with HTML, XML, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, SOAP, RESTful Web services, JDBC, Angular JS, Vue JS, Angular, Handlebar, Node JS, Bootstrap. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master''s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Technologies, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor''s degree plus 5 years ofprogressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of a Master''s. Must have 1 year experience (or1 year experience as Software Dev Engineer, or related occupation). Must have 1 year experience designing and coding software and working in an agile environment to deliver software; Building lost cost and manageable scalable distributed storage, index, and query systems; Running predictions on distributed systems. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time.
