Job Title: Software Developer (Data Solutions Developer)
Location: Birmingham, AL
Duration: 12+ months
 

Seeking a Data Solutions Developer to develop and support reporting, analytics, web applications, APIs, and data-driven enterprise solutions. Work with stakeholders, developers, and data engineers to integrate data, improve data quality, and deliver scalable solutions for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate, consolidate, validate, and troubleshoot data from multiple enterprise systems.
  • Develop web applications, REST APIs, dashboards, reports, and data solutions.
  • Gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and data engineers.
  • Build secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable enterprise applications.
  • Support data analysis, modeling, reporting, and process improvements.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years in software development, BI, reporting, application development, or related technical fields.
  • C#, .NET, Blazor, REST APIs, modern web development.
  • SQL, data analysis, data modeling, data validation, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Power BI, Databricks, Enterprise Data Warehouses, Lakehouse/Cloud Data Platforms.
  • Oracle and SQL Server.
  • GitHub, Azure DevOps, source control, Azure-hosted solutions, cloud deployment.
  • Knowledge of microservices and distributed architectures.

Preferred

  • Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Azure Services, CI/CD, automated deployments, semantic models, modern data architecture, Agile.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment: Hybrid in Birmingham, Alabama, with occasional on-site collaboration/travel.
